I personally don't think that companies have so much time to spend on 80% of the problems they are facing.

"Do I have the guarantee that it will work for me?"

I can't give you an absolute guarantee. This method is a tool but you still have to use your energy (Yes... you still have to think ;-) )

What I can guarantee is that in the majority, you will save lots of hours and headaches by aligning all your team with your best ideas without arguing.

The problem is not that teams don't have ideas, the problem is that people have too many ideas far away of the problem.

With some creativity methods, the scope is so open and fuzzy that people will try to "think out of the box" with some delirious ideas.

I have nothing about delirious ideas, we need some of them, but in an industrial environment, what we are looking for is some practical How-to advices and processes.

And in 99% of the case, this is what will make the difference. Let the delirious ideas to the 1% left.


"How long will it take ?"

 Reading the method will take about 2 hours. I've put some riddles and exercises so you can practice during those 2 hours and have some fun discovering how to apply the method.

Then for a project, typically,  2 sessions of 2 hours are enough to, first, raise ideas and, second, rank them.

I've worked those past 5 years trying to find the perfect solutions to drive innovation,

If you have ever tried to find out some methodology about how to be creative, how to choose the best ideas in your area of work (which won't be the same as in another company in another domain), you then know what a huge quantity of work there is on the subject !

I then tried each of those methods, trying to apply them by myself first and then with the team.

A few good ones were really great, in a good number of cases. Nevertheless in some cases, with some different teams the application was harder.

I then tried to guess what were the enablers.

What was different? The projects and the people.

I found that the major factor was actually the people AND the culture (Yes, intercultural is great but only if you know how to deal with it. Bad point if that you cannot figure by yourself how different people of other culture are from you !).

After lots of trials and errors, I had a global view and decided to find the common path among all those methods that seem to work.

This method is the result of those 5 years search.
